Clinical Psychology

As a reminder to all students here are your departmental point people:

  • Your Advisors! Our faculty are a wealth of knowledge and experience about academic, clinical, research, training, and departmental issues. Be sure to talk with your advisors and ask questions as needed. Read more about your faculty!
  • Nadjeh Awadallah – Clinical Psychology Advisor – Nadjeh is here to assist with registration questions and issues, degree audits, course transfer requests, and other matters related to your progress through the program. He should be your first contact for questions related to these more administrative and logistical program matters.
  • Toni Johnson – Clinical Psychology Department Administrator -Toni is an excellent resource for questions about necessary documents, comprehensive exams, and other department issues. If she is not able to assist you – no doubt she knows where to direct your questions. Toni also sends out important departmental announcements via e-mail and postings on campus – so be sure to check your e-mail regularly and be on the look out for flyers posted around campus!
  • Dr. Froerer - Associate Chair MAIO & MACL –Dr. Froerer is the point person for petitions to enter closed courses, special requests/petitions, compliments or concerns regarding our adjunct faculty, and other issues/questions you might have as a student in the department for the MAIO and MACL programs.
  • Dr. Horvath – Associate Program Chair Dr. Horvath is the point person for petitions to enter closed courses, special requests/petitions, compliments or concerns regarding our adjunct faculty, and other issues/questions you might have as a student in the department.
  • Dr. Slobig – Program ChairAs head of the department, Dr. Slobig has the answers! If your advisor, Naj, Toni, Dr. Froerer, and Dr. Horvath aren’t able to assist you, then you should take your concerns to Dr. Slobig. Dr. Slobig is also the person to whom you should address any compliments, suggestions, or concerns about core faculty, program policy, or the department as a whole.
