Course Transfers

You may be eligible to transfer graduate coursework into your program.  The student must first read the Course Transfer Guidelines to determine eligibility. If eligible the student must complete one Course Transfer Request form for each course requested (attachment course transfer request form) Student Services should receive the form and all accompanying materials.  The department will route the information to the appropriate faculty reviewer for a decision.  The student will be notified of the decision.  The course transfer request process takes 4-6 weeks.

Foundation Courses (MACL/PsyD)

Foundation courses are undergrad courses required for entry into AU, Chicago clinical programs.  If students need to complete this requirement after admission, they will have one calendar year to do so and before registering for a practicum. The courses can be taken at Argosy University or another regionally accredited institution.  The courses are:

• Introduction to Psychology
• Abnormal Psychology
• Theories of Personality
• Research Methods or Statistics
• Psychological Assessment
