7th Annual Traumatology Symposium
During the weekend of May 6 and 7, 2011, Dr. Judith Flaxman and four students from her EMDR class presented their final class papers at the 7th Annual Traumatology Symposium at the Argosy University campus in Sarasota, Florida. Among the presenters were Tim Miller, Marisa Sisk, and Jenna Stowell, current Psy.D. students at Argosy, Chicago, and Carol Moss, LCPC, a continuing education student.. Their presentation was entitled “Amazing Cases: Beginning EMDR Practitioners take on Veteran Issues, Childhood Abuse, Mild Depression, & Anxiety.” Read more
Comparing Psychological Theories: How Does Intrapsychic Humanism Fit In?
On June 24, 2011, from 6-8pm, (with a light supper at 5pm), Annemarie Slobig, Psy.D., Dean and Program Chair, Clinical Psychology at Argosy University, Chicago, will present "Comparing Psychological Theories: How Does Intrapsychic Humanism Fit In?" in which she will compare and contrast the treatment principles and methods of intrapsychic humanism with those of other treatment approaches. This talk is co-sponsored by the clinical psychology department and the Intrapsychic Humanism Society and is FREE for Argosy students
